This page provides instructions for resetting or recovering your Self-Service/GCCCD email password in case you forget it or get locked out. These instructions are intended for students, faculty, and staff.

*Note: You must have set up multi-factor authentication on your account to be able to recover your password. This means you either have the Microsoft Authenticator app, or have added your phone number and email to

Recover Your Password

If you forget your password, and have already set up multi-factor authentication, you may recover your account using the procedure below:

  1. Open in any web browser.
  2. Enter your GCCCD email.
  3. Enter the captcha.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts.

You will receive a message in your personal email notifying you of the success. You may reset your account password anytime you get locked out, forget it, or suspect malicious activity.
