The application is free! Before you register for classes, you must fill out an online application to the college. 窪做惇蹋APP uses OpenCCC and CCCMyPath to provide students with a quick, easy, and a secure way to apply to the college.

3. 窪做惇蹋APP-Cuyamaca College Promise

The 窪做惇蹋APP-Cuyamaca College Promise provides up to two-years of tuition at 窪做惇蹋APP or Cuyamaca College for students who are attending college full-time. With the Promise, students have access to college, even those who never thought higher education was possible.

Eligibility and Requirements

As a first-time College student, youll need to take these steps to receive the 窪做惇蹋APP- Cuyamaca College Promise:

  • Be a California resident or AB540 eligible
  • Have no college level degree or certificate
  • Complete and submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid or application
  • Attend as a full-time student at 窪做惇蹋APP or College (At least 12 credit units per semester, some ARC students may qualify for 6 credits units upon meeting with an ARC counselor)
  • Starting the second year, maintain a 2.0 college grade point average or higher to remain eligible

4. Complete the New Student Orientation

All students should complete our online orientation that provides students with information on the programs offered at the college, students support services available, how to register for classes, and additional important information for students.

 

Once you complete your application and your application has been processed (usually within 1-2 business days), you should be able to login to .

5. Career Exploration

Career Coach


The steps students take in career exploration can help guide in making positive, well-informed education and career decisions. Your career journey begins with exploring your interests and figuring out how those line up with a major and career interest.

 

Understanding what careers are available and what the job market looks like can help you make decisions about major and career goals.

 

We recommend you to start exploring through as you can:

6. Assessment and Placement

 

The State of California has passed a law (AB705) which provides students access to complete transfer level courses in English and math in one year. High school GPA will be the primary factor in determining placement. Please access the online guided self-placement questionnaire by following the directions listed below:

The questionnaire will determine if English language learners will need to take the ESL Guided Self Placement.

Advanced Placement (AP) Exam

If an AP exam has been passed with a score of 3 or higher in the following classes: English Language and Composition, English Literature and Composition, Calculus AB or BC, or Statistics, students can submit the appropriate documentation through the prerequisite clearance online form for possible English and math placement.

Course from Another College

If an English or math class has been completed from another college or university within the United States, students can submit the appropriate documentation through the prerequisite clearance online form for possible English and math placement.

 

* Official transcripts from other colleges and universities must be submitted to Admissions and Records at 窪做惇蹋APP.

 

7. Get Your Abbreviated Education Plan

This is a 1- or 2-semester plan that will help you register for appropriate classes. You can complete this step in two different ways:

 

  1. Self-pace in Self-Service
    Log in to Click Orientation/Assess/Advising, then click Step Three - Online Advising.  

  2.  Attend a Drop-in Session
    Students can meet one-on-one with counselors during a drop-in session to determine what courses to register for the semester. Drop-in Sessions can be done on campus or online. To learn more about drop-ins, visit our

8. Financial Aid

窪做惇蹋APP has financial aid available to help you with the cost of fees, books and supplies, food, housing, transportation and childcare.

  • Free Application for Federal Student Aid () allows citizens and eligible non-citizens to apply for federal and state financial aid. Make sure 窪做惇蹋APPs Federal school code is listed (00120800) Application opens October 1st for the following year.
  • (financial aid application for undocumented students only) The California Dream Act application allows undocumented students interested in attending eligible California Colleges and Universities to apply for state financial aid. This application is unrelated to the federal Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. Make sure 窪做惇蹋APPs Federal school code is listed (00120800) Application opens October 1st for the following year.

  • Scholarships A scholarship is financial support awarded to a student, based on academic achievement or other criteria that may include financial need, for the purpose of schooling. There are various types of scholarships the two most common being merit-based and need-based. Scholarships are typically awarded using a variety of factors, including - but not limited to, academic achievement, departmental and community involvement, employment experience, areas of study, and financial need. 9. How to Register

 

You will receive an email indicating your registration date and time: in April for Summer, and Fall and November for Spring. Search the online class . Check course prerequisites to make sure you are cleared ahead of time. Login into to view registration date and registering for your classes.

Once you have your AEP- Abbreviated Educational Plan developed by a counselor, make certain to register and pay for your classes as soon as possible. Students will need to log into to register and pay for your classes.

Note: Registration is not complete until your tuition and fees are paid. You can pay your fees via or on campus at the Cashier office. Make sure to pay so you do not get dropped from your classes.

High School Students

 
Special Admit Enrollment

The 窪做惇蹋APP-Cuyamaca Community College District will provide opportunities for students to enroll in courses at 窪做惇蹋APP or Cuyamaca College while they are enrolled in high school. Permission from the high school administrator and parental approval must be obtained prior to registration.

 


Eligibility 

High School Students

 

To be eligible for concurrent enrollment, students:

  1. Must have completed the tenth grade and be at least 14 years of age at the opening day of the semester of attendance.

  2. Must be currently enrolled in high school.

  3. Must be determined by the high school principal (or designee) to have the ability to benefit from "advanced scholastic or vocational work."

  4. Have written parental approval prior to registration.

Prospective students who do not meet all these criteria will not be accepted for college admission. An appeal process is available through the Admissions and Records Office at 窪做惇蹋APP.

 


General Rules - College Enrollment

High School Students

  1. High school students will be held to the same academic and conduct standards as any other college student enrolled in the class. Access to specific courses may be limited by space availability and/or course prerequisites.
    (See college catalog and class schedule for specific information.)

  2. High school students will attend high school for at least the minimum high school day.

  3. High School/College Credit (HS/CC) students may enroll for either day or extended day courses but are limited to two courses per term. State law places a limit on the number of HS/CC students who may enroll in Exercise Science classes.

  4. All classes taken at 窪做惇蹋APP are for college credit. Enrollment in the HS/CC program will establish a permanent college record. Courses taken for college credit may be used to meet high school graduation requirements; however, this determination is made solely by the high school district.

  5. High school students will need to provide transportation to and from the college, purchase a parking permit (if needed) and the required books and supplies for the college course(s).
 

Enrollment Procedures

High School Students

 

Plan Ahead. Students should begin the process for special admit enrollment at least one month before the semester or session of attendance. To enroll at the college, follow these procedures:

  1. Meet with your high school counselor or designee to:
  2. Develop an educational program plan relating to the instructional program at the college, AND
  3. Select appropriate courses after the required prerequisites have been met.

  4. Complete the High School/College Credit Enrollment Authorization form available on the web or at the college Admissions and Records Office.

  5. Obtain your parent's or guardian's signature on the High School/College Credit Enrollment Authorization form.

  6. Complete an  to 窪做惇蹋APP.

  7. Present the application and High School/College Credit Enrollment Authorization forms to the Admissions and Records Office at 窪做惇蹋APP.

  8. English and mathematics assessment is required for students taking English and mathematics courses.

  9. Counseling services will be provided during the orientation session prior to the beginning of each semester.

  10. Internet registration is available using .

  11. You may only register for courses in the subject areas approved on your High School / College Credit Enrollment Authorization form.

  • California residents may be eligible for a fee waiver, but Federal financial aid is not available to high school students.
